- Jennifer’s position as Safety Officer at the California Fuel Cell Partnership began in April 2006. She maintains a safe work environment for the on-site member auto manufacturers, and she heads the Emergency Responder Workshop Program for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Vehicles. Jennifer works closely with all of the CaFCP members on the challenges related to hydrogen and has successfully led the effort with members and emergency response education leaders to release the current versions of CaFCP literature and the ER web site, www.er.cafcp.org which provides emergency responders with links to other useful resources. The ER Workshop presentation has been delivered to over 1,800 emergency responders, mostly in California. Jennifer and the CaFCP’s ER Workshop program are recognized by the California Office of the State Fire Marshal and the National Association of State Fire Marshals with whom Jennifer works closely with to incorporate the CaFCP material into state and national fire training curriculum. After obtaining a Master’s in Animal Science from the University of California, Davis, Jennifer applied her degree as a laboratory manager in the School of Veterinary Medicine before joining the CaFCP.
