Biographical Sketch: Mike currently leads the Manufacturing R&D project in NREL’s Hydrogen Technologies and Systems Center, as well as being the point of contact for NREL’s activities in support of the DOE Hydrogen Program in the areas of Manufacturing Assessment and Market Transformation. Mike’s previous experience includes 11 years at 3M Company, where he developed processes and products based on multilayer polymer film constructions, and transferred these technologies to a continuous manufacturing environment. He has four issued and four filed patents, as well as 11 journal articles in the area of polymer surface modification.
