- Mr. Fok is responsible for the marketing and business development activities at Ovonic Materials, a division of Energy Conversion Devices, Inc. Mr. Fok has presented at several major industry conferences and has obtained high-profile coverage for Ovonic in trade publications and media. He led a fuel cell systems integration team in successfully designing, building, and demonstrating 50 watt, 500 watt, and 1 kilowatt fuel cell systems and exhibiting them at major industry and military tradeshows.
- Starting in 1994, Mr. Fok held positions of increasing responsibility at Ovonic Battery Company where he had key roles in the development, fabrication, and testing of positive electrodes for nickel-metal hydride batteries. He has extensive firsthand experience with battery testing and test equipment. He led a team for positive electrode production for hybrid and electric vehicle battery packs. Combining his electrode and battery testing experience, he provided training and technical support for international licensees.
- In 2000, Mr. Fok began working on fuel cells and led several cross-functional teams on a variety of missions including new plant startup, testing and characterization of fuel cells, building & implementing automated test stands, competitive analysis, and safety.
- Mr. Fok has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and a B.S.E in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
